The Ride Behind the Launch

Five days. Hundreds of kilometres. One destination. Follow the Baumier team’s ride from Montreal to Toronto for the launch of the B01.

When we began planning the Toronto launch of the Baumier B01 at Étape 22, we knew we wanted to arrive the same way the bike was intended to be ridden: under our own power.

So instead of driving to Toronto, we rode.

Over five days, the Baumier team traveled from Montreal to Toronto, covering hundreds of kilometres across Ontario on the very roads the B01 was designed for. Along the way, we battled rain, headwinds, long days in the saddle, and a few mechanicals. More importantly, we met riders, visited bike shops, shared coffees, and connected with cycling communities across the province.

The journey culminated on Saturday evening with the official Toronto launch of the B01 at Étape 22. It was an incredible opportunity to introduce the bike to the Toronto cycling community and share the vision behind Baumier.

The weekend didn't stop there. On Saturday morning, we enjoyed a few laps around High Park, and on Sunday we joined the 247CC Cycling Club for a group ride through some of the area's best roads. It was the perfect way to close a memorable week on the bike.

This video captures some of our favourite moments from the trip.

Thank you to everyone who rode with us, welcomed us along the way, and helped make this adventure possible.
